On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Cole Strange of the New England Patriots hosted his first Patriots at the Movies outreach program for 40 veterans and their guests at the Showcase Cinema de Lux at Patriot Place. Cole met with all the veterans, telling them about his new nonprofit foundation in their honor, handed out prizes (signed jerseys and helmets), and treated everyone to drinks and snacks before watching Gran Turismo with all the veterans.

The mission of The Cole Strange Foundation is to honor, support, and show appreciation for the sacrifices of military veterans by impacting the lives of those physically injured or facing mental health challenges.
